My purpose in adding my thoughts to the myriad of others available throughout cyberspace is simply to open my own veins, or provide an outlet for self-expression with the hope that my own bloodflow may enhance someone else's Godward heartbeat in the process.

The Arc of Our Lives
I love the quote I heard yesterday from Dr. Dub Oliver, president of East Texas Baptist University: "God wants the arc of our lives bent toward love and justice and mercy."
